Quarry Academy ®

This Academy is developed in the USA by the innovative alliance between Dyno Nobel, Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions, and Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions.

The Quarry Academy® seminar is back in 2023!

Dyno Nobel & Sandvik are excited to host Quarry Academy at the Marriott Riverwalk Hotel in San Antonio, Texas, from Tuesday, November 14th to Thursday, November 16th.

Quarry Academy in the USA is an educational seminar that looks at the total production stream of quarry operations. Sandvik and Dyno Nobel have run this program since 2005. The three-day seminar is tailored to those who serve in the aggregates industry.  It includes lectures, workshops, simulators and concludes with a visit to a local quarry. Quarry Academy addresses current best practices in quarry operations, focusing on systems integration, economic sustainability, process improvement, overall cost reduction, and safety as part of daily work behavior to efficiently produce aggregates.

The cost of attending Quarry Academy is $2,350 for early bird and $2,550 after August 31st. This fee includes the course, meals during the day, and transportation to the quarry visit.

Spaces will be limited so make sure to secure your space by registering here.
